Michelle Todd

Soprano

British-Canadian Soprano and actress Michelle Todd is a performer of critically acclaimed versatility whose career continues to take her to leading concert halls and theatres around the world.

She made her prize-winning London recital debut in the Purcell Room followed by performances in The Queen Elizabeth Hall, and star singer for BBC's Friday Night is Music Night with the BBC Concert Orchestra. Her roles in London’s West End theatres include working with Stephen Sondheim in the award- winning production of Follies; H.M.S. Pinafore, Little Me, The Sound of Music, Twelfth Night, Little Shop of Horrors and A Little Night Music. Leading roles in orchestral concerts include Gigi, Camelot, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and Guys and Dolls

Leading roles in Canadian theatres and The Shaw Festival include Oklahoma, My Fair Lady, Hello Dolly, Good News, Nymph Errant, Into the Woods and Side by Side by Sondheim.

Classical recitals have taken her to Dubai, Taiwan, Denmark, France, India, Bermuda, Tokyo, the intimacy of Handel’s House and soloist in London’s Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall. Her most recent debut was performing the iconic role of Miss Havisham in Great Expectations in Hamburg.

Performances with the Calgary Philharmonic include The Andrew Lloyd Webber Experience, and her one woman show The Tales of Beatrix Potter at the Bella Concert Hall and Jubilee Auditorium.
