The Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra acknowledges that we tell stories through music on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the îethka Nakoda Nations (Chiniki, Bearspaw, Goodstoney), the Otipemisiwak Métis Government (District 6), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. These peoples have made music on these lands for thousands of years. We honor the longstanding relationships these Nations have with this land and commit to ongoing learning, reconciliation, and music-making.
