Conductor

Rolf Bertsch is one of Canada’s foremost musical figures – celebrated as a conductor, pianist, communicator, and mentor. Appointed Assistant Conductor of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal in 2000 by Charles Dutoit, he went on to serve as their Conductor in Residence through 2004. His musical versatility spans Europe, Asia, and across the Americas.

Since 2008, Rolf has served as Music Director and Conductor of the Calgary Civic Symphony and regularly collaborates with the Calgary Philharmonic, teaching at Mount Royal University Conservatory and performing as their resident pianist. Learn more about Rolf here!
