Stephania Luciuk
Assistant Principal Second Violin
Founding Member
Stephania Luciuk is thrilled to make music with her RMSO colleagues. Before moving to Alberta, Stephania studied violin at the University of Regina Conservatory of Music, primarily with Dr. Howard Leyton-Brown. A founding board member and current assistant principal second violin with the RMSO , she has also performed in the violin and viola sections of orchestras across Canada – including the Regina Symphony Orchestra, Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, Nova Sinfonia of Halifax, the PEI Symphony, Symphony of the Kootenays (BC) and the St. Giles Orchestra, as well as regularly collaborating on chamber music locally and participating in the orchestras of the University of Regina, Dalhousie University and the University of Calgary. Stephania also dabbles in piano, flute (classical and Ukrainian folk), bandura (Ukrainian folk harp) and accordion and has performed with and arranged for Ukrainian folk ensembles in Saskatchewan and Alberta. By day, Stephania can usually be found making the most of her law degree and enjoying her four children.
