Tokie Onoda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree and a Minor in Music from the University of Southern Mississippi. With over 20 years of experience in promoting for-profit, non-profit, and post-secondary education institutions, Tokie has collaborated with organizations such as the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the University of Calgary School of Creative and Performing Arts, the Faculty of Arts, Luminous Voices, and the Royal Alberta United Services Institute. In 2020, she founded Calgary Classical, a website that provides an integrated list of classical music events across Calgary and its surrounding areas.

Beyond her promotional work, Tokie is also a violinist and performs with the Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra, the Calgary Civic Symphony, and St. Giles Orchestra, among others. Her unique ability to combine her expertise in music and marketing allows her to create impactful connections within Calgary’s vibrant arts community.
