RMSO Welcomes New Executive Director, Nelda Schulte

We’re thrilled to announce that Nelda Schulte has joined the Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra as our new Executive Director, effective immediately.

Nelda holds both an M.Mus. and B.Mus. in voice performance and is a seasoned arts leader with over 20 years of experience in program development, community engagement, and nonprofit governance. Her leadership track record spans from securing major grants and sponsorships to developing transformative education programs such as the Calgary Philharmonic’s PhilKids, and even founding and managing her own opera company.

 Passionate about innovation and inclusivity in the arts, Nelda has already shared with our Board and team her exciting ideas for programming that blends classical masterworks with diverse cultural traditions and immersive community experiences. Her expertise in fundraising, strategic planning, and building strong partnerships will be invaluable as the RMSO moves into its 10th anniversary season and beyond.
